Women’s Section

Beach Grove is noted for its weather (40% less precipitation) and the friendliness of its members.

We have two very active women’s groups: Tuesday Women, and Business Women for weekend play. Both groups provide you with an opportunity to meet other women and play with different players. Both groups have fun events as well as more serious competitions.

Tuesday and Business Women Groups

Tuesday Women group is open to all women golf members. Membership in the Business Women has the additional requirement of having declarable income (a BCGA restriction).

Both groups have signup sheets in the women’s locker room and a volunteer from the group does the weekly draw, mixing up players as appropriate to the event. The draw is then posted online by the Golf Shop. 

Team Play

In addition, all women golf members are able to play “Team”, where we have competitions against other clubs in our Zone. The format is partner match play and the schedule is laid out by the Zone. There are 3 weekday teams who usually play on Tuesdays. There are two home games and two away games each golfing season. The Business Women also have a team that plays on the weekend.

Women's Executive

There is a women’s executive with representation from both groups as well as elected positions from the women members at large. Their purpose is to look after the interests of all women in the club.
