Beach Grove Ladies Charity Open Tournament
The 19th annual tournament was held on Monday, July 5, 2010. Former LPGA star Jennifer Wyatt was featured as the patron and guest speaker. Thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors, the tournament players, and dinner guests; approximately $12,000 was raised for two local charities, bringing the total for the past four years to over $61,000.
Our 2010 charities are Delta Stroke Recovery Group (a local group committed to assisting stroke survivors and their caregivers to have a better quality of life) and Canadian Mental Health Association, Delta Branch (an independent local group whose goal is to promote the mental health of all people in the community especially children and youth, which is unfortunately experiencing an increasing need).
