Equipped for LIFE!
SNAG is designed to help each child reach their individual potential in motor skill development, fitness, and play concepts. The most outstanding programs also provide opportunities for learning competency, sportsmanship, understanding and personal responsibility. The goal is not the activity itself but rather the complete development of the child. SNAG is a modified golf game created to be an important and essential part of the development of the child.
The SNAG system also allows you to incorporate the playing side of the game. It is an excellent program for juniors that integrate the rules of golf and personal life skills
The Game
SNAG™ contains all the basic elements of golf, but in a modified form. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows for full shots, pitching, chipping and putting. Its design makes it both safe and portable, allowing instruction, practice and play to take place both inside and outside.
Utilizing its own simplified rules and terminology, called “SNAGology” SNAG adds fun to the learning and playing experience. The SNAG ball, slightly smaller than a tennis ball and covered with a loop material, has a limited distance with the average player hitting it a maximum of 50 yards. The target, called the Flagsticky™, is an above-ground weighted cylinder covered with a hook material. Unlike golf where you finish out by putting the ball into the hole, in SNAG, you SNAGout by sticking your ball to the Flagsticky.
SNAG has only two clubs: the “Launcher™” is used to launch (full shot), pitch and chip the ball. Like a putter, the “Roller” is used to roll the ball on the “Short Stuff.” All shots other than rolling (putting) are played off a small rubber mat and tee called the “Launch Pad.” This ensures that the player will love an optimal lie every time. Each Launch Pad comes with three durable rubber tees.
Perhaps the greatest feature of SNAG is that it makes learning as much fun as playing. The Snapper’ and the SNAGazoo™ are interactive, noise-making training tools that are a blast to use and fun to practice with, whether you are alone or in a group. The Rollerama and Bullseye Target are both designed to help develop accurate shot-making skills. For additional fun, SNAG offers the Sticky Jacket and Sticky Helmet, covered with the same hook material as the Flagsticky. SNAGsters have fun wearing the completely safe, protective gear and trying to catch SNAG balls on the fly.

The Tools
The SNAG
Snapper teaches proper hand action and grip pressure needed in a full swing. The Snapper also develops timing and rhythm by synchronizing all the body parts. The SNAG Roller Brush provides auditory and kinesthetic feed back for the rolling stroke. The SNAG Hoop Clocks provide a visual cue in both number and colors showing students how far back and through to move their arms while the SNAG-O-Matic reinforces the proper stroke for the chip shot and can also be used to promote the correct movement in the rolling stroke and pitch. The SNAGazoo develops the hand set position for proper execution of the pitch and full swing.
The Equipment
Flagsticky™

Flagsticky™'s come in the beginner size. The beginner's size is six inches round at the base and comes up to five inches at the top. The Flagsticky™ are 10 inches high respectively and are covered with a yellow sticky hook material. The screw on cap enables it to be filled with sand or water to provide stability when laid on top of any flat playing surface.
SNAG Balls®

The basic SNAG Ball™ is slightly smaller than a tennis ball and made of a loop material that enables it to stick to the hook material on the Flagsticky™ and other instructional targets.
SNAG Balls™ are uniquely designed with a large, black, numbered dot that helps establish proper alignment of the Launcher™ and Roller™ club faces with the target. SNAG Balls™ are safe and float if launched into water.
SNAG Clubs™

SNAG Clubs have fiberglass shafts with just the right amount of flex for maximum feel and fun. The heads provide plenty of surface area to strike the SNAG Balls™.
On each face is a bullseye, which is centered perfectly to establish perfect alignment with the target. SNAG clubs come equipped with a special Right On Red™ SNAG grip, constructed in three different hand sizes for the men, women and children. The pentagonal grips feature yellow and red dots on the top two panels to provide SNAGsters with a consistently perfect hold. The SNAG club heads come in two basic colors Red and Green. Green designates the shorter kid's clubs, which are 26" and 30" in length. The Red designates the adults 34" and 35" clubs. SNAG clubs come in both right and left handed versions.
Launch Pad™

The Launch Pad™ is used for every shot where the Launcher™ is used. The Launch Pad™ has a yellow directional arrow that assists the SNAGster in lining up his or her shot. The Launch Pad™ also has a rubber tee for an optimal lie every time. The tees size is set to accommodate the SNAG Ball™.
The proper placement of the Launch Pad™ is critical in helping the SNAGSter to be properly aligned for each shot.
SNAG has developed programming for all ages and genders. We offer instructional sessions for all children. No longer is it necessary for people to learn how to play golf at a course or range.
Beach Grove Golf Club's trained staff can be effective in developing the necessary golf skills for all juniors in Delta. In addition, we also have programming for families or groups to come together and play in structured events that you can offer at an off-course open space.
The SNAGheads
In 1995, two former PGA Tour Professionals, Terry Anton and Wally Armstrong, decided to develop a player-friendly form of golf. They scientifically designed their equipment on a mustard stained napkin. They utilized hook and loop material for unimaginable product flexibility. They sought out manufacturers in China to produce their products economically (The workers said they were all 18, we swear)! They created the instruction to be easy and well-planned because the world isn't filled with rocket scientists, and so that it could be taught by a variety of sports professionals and easily understood by everyone. They also wanted to have a game that was accessible to everyone and could be played practically anywhere. They have accomplished their goals, and today SNAG™ can be enjoyed by people of all ages, sizes and genders including those with disabilities everywhere except Two Egg, Alabama. Because of SNAG™'s unique characteristics, "The World is Now Your Course."
The research Terry and Wally conducted to reveal an accurate portrayal of SNAG™'s impact on world history is as complete as anyone has ever done. Their interpretation is somewhat biased, the characters have some fictional qualities and events vary from current historical fact. If you believe this stuff, you were like us and barely made it through school. This is our story and we're sticking to it.
"This is how golf should be taught to beginners"
